Provide opportunities for physical and social development through sports and other extracurricular activities.
Open Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year will begin in July 2026
Enrollment at CSDVA is subject to seat availability, and if the number of applications surpasses the available seats, a lottery will be conducted. Families who wish to secure a seat for the 2025-2026 school year are encouraged to submit their applications during the open enrollment period.
By applying during the open enrollment period, your child will be included in the lottery process scheduled for February 2025. Priority will be given to siblings of current CSDVA students. It is unnecessary to be present in person to accept the seat if your child's name is selected in the lottery. We will notify you through email if your child receives a seat or is placed on the waitlist.
After the Open Enrollment period and public lottery at the Community School of Digital and Visual Arts (CSDVA), additional applications will be considered if seats are available, or students will be added to a waitlist in chronological order of application.
Criteria for eligibility include being a North Carolina resident at the time of application, and Kindergarten students must be five years old by August 31st of the respective school year 2. Applications are removed if the student does not meet the eligibility requirements. Applications do not automatically transfer from one school year to another, meaning a new application must be submitted for each academic year. If a child was not admitted to CSDVA in the 2024-25 school year, a new application must be submitted for the 2025-26 academic year.
If you win a lottery seat, you will be emailed additional information to solidify your seat for the upcoming school year.
